You Just Need to Vent Sometimes

You can’t hold it in forever. There comes a point in time when you have to just unload, let it all out. If you keep it bottled up you could end up aiming for that squirrel in the road next time. Anger, frustration, gas, it all are causes for you to lose sight of the good life (well for gas I guess it depends on what side your on). Don’t just keep it bottled up. If you need a place where you want to be here, take it to the Internet. sure why not, sometimes it makes for some good topics. Get yourself a blog and let it all out. Go over on Twitter and tell everyone about how the squirrels are all out to get you.

In fact many people have blogs or twitter accounts for that same reason. In fact there are whole communities of bloggers that only use their blogs to vent. Check out Thoughts.com if you want to see what I mean. There are some people there that really, need to seek some professional help. I won’t pick out anyone, you just need to go take a look for yourself. In fact, tell them about how to live the good life, they need it.

So today I’m going to spend some time and vent. I’m going to let you know some things that really get under the skin, well at least they bother me enough to vent about.

  1. That lady in front of me who has 10,000 things in her basket, yet waits until all the items are rung up before writing the check. I’m mean come on! Who the heck even uses checks anymore!
  2. When a cop pulls you over and asks, “do you know how fast you were going?” What? doe he not? What does it matter? If I said yes, do I win the toaster oven? Does he really think I’m going to say “Why yes officer, I do” . If I did, what would he say to that?
  3. Going to the DMV, waiting in line for like 5 hours when there are 5 clerks just sitting there typing away on their computers like they are busy. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! If you have something to do that doesn’t involve me getting out of their faster, take it to the back. We know you are on twitter telling everyone how your playing a mind game on everyone and laughing about it.
  4. People who text and drive. Seriously here. Think about it. Do you think you can negotiate that turn at 45 mph while texting you BFF?
  5. The fact that Microsoft can’t spend any of their trillions of dollars to make something that actually works without crashing. I mean instead of fixing the problem, Vista now asks me if it is OK if it crashes.
  6. When I got a booger in my nose and nobody has the nerve to tell me. Do you think it will go away if you don’t tell me? I would rather be embarrassed once, than 10 times.
  7. When it is a hot chick that tells me I have a booger in my nose.
  8. The stupid warning labels on everything. I saw a paintball gun in the store the other day that said “don’t look down the barrel while pulling the trigger”. Are we really there?
  9. The government bailing everyone out that screwed up. I’m responsible with my money. I live within my budget, these are the things they taught me in school. I paid attention. So now I get to pick up your tab too? Sure, have another trip to the Bahamas, it’s on me. you could at least send me a postcard.
  10. People that are so embarrassed about the silence that they have to talk about the weather. Come on, that’s not even original. At least bore me with some random facts about dirt. Next time you’re stuck with someone you don’t know and can’t find anything to talk about. Bring up that cool blog, Find a good life.
