I look unusually clean cut - I just came from an interview.

The idea for blog this blog was created in the mind of an American college student after a year of self improvement.  I, that college student, singlehandedly wrought a complete change in myself from one kind of person to another – from an unhappy, unhealthy, unfit, and unsuited waste of oxygen to a lean, mean, living machine.

I found what it means to live the good life.  That is, I found that I felt the happiest when I was doing and accomplishing something.  It’s not an easy path to walk.  But it’s the path I’ve chosen.  And the purpose of this site is for me to share the wisdom and woe I finds on my long trek forward into the heart of life itself.  Hopefully I can keep you from making the same mistakes I have.  Even if you’re only looking for small improvements, I hope I can help you.  If you have any questions about anything on the site, want advice, or just need someone to talk to you, can contact me at author@findagoodlife.com

This site actually only came into existence through a number of factors – First, I feels it has been too long since I have written anything of merit (or anything at all for that matter).  Second, friends interested in internet marketing wagered that such a site could generate revenue.  Third, I realized a blog about my life experiences might actually help a few people who have been where I started.  My hopes are that eventually I can pay for my college tuition.  So if you want to contribute back to the site, please click below, and understand your donation, no matter how small, means the world to me.

To be more specific, I’m currently a college student at Georgia Tech, and doing my best to succeed and stay on the track towards a good life!  I’m studying International Affairs and Modern Languages there, focusing mostly on Japanese.  I’m currently learning Korean, and the next language I’ll be learning is Chinese.  I enjoy several times of dance – I’m learning salsa, hip-hop, and breakdance, and soon I plan to start up ballroom dance.  I’ve been involved in a myriad of student organizations, and most recently served as the Service Chair of both the Georgia Tech Chapter of Unite for Sight and GT Pre Pharmacy Student Association.  My hobbies are mostly learning new skills (if you didn’t guess from above), so I’m also teaching myself harmonica and FACS (facial action coding system) at the moment.  I certainly have some eclectic interests.

If you don’t feel like donating to this website but are still in the mood for giving, please consider donating to Unite for Sight.  Your donation will go towards developing eye clinics in countries such as Honduras, India, and Ghana.  In addition, they help pay for cararact surgeries – as little as a 35 dollar donation can make the difference between blindness and sight for one person.  And in the case of children, this is the difference between life and death, since most of those afflicted with childhood blindness fail to reach adulthood.  You can donate here, and rest assured that your contribution is going towards a good cause.  If you want to get more information, here is a link to Unite for Sight.
